Rosemarie Chaposky Canant, born on June 23, 1955, to Joseph and Joyce Brown Chaposky in Youngstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, in Abilene, Texas, at the age of 68.
Rosemarie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 42 years, Clifford Canant. She leaves behind her two sons: Hank Graham of Bridgewater, VA, and Clifford Canant (Robert Paradis) of Abilene; her two daughters: Sandra Canant (Stacie McCarthy) of Ohio and Cynthia Zwarycz (Andrew Zwarycz) of Arizona. Rosemarie is also survived by her two sisters, Maryann Yohn (Kenneth Yohn) and Judith Bitner, and her two brothers, Joseph Chaposky of Carlisle, PA, and George (Debbi) Chaposky of Florida. Additionally, she cherished her grandchildren: Andrew and Cameron of VA, Joshua of Reading, PA, and Cyllie and Christopher of Chambersburg, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Joyce Chaposky, and her youngest son, Christopher Canant.
Rosemarie will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she had for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Luke Orthodox Christian Church.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St., Abilene, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., followed by cremation.
