RoseMarie Carrington Obituary
Cissi was born May 15, 1955, in Victoria, TX to Anton and June Salas.
She was a dedicated employee with Chambers County Sheriff's Office from 1984-2008. Retiring as the Captain of the Jail Division.
She was married to the love of her life, Cal "JewPop" Carrington for 36 years and made their home in Double Bayou until his passing in November 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Carolyn Stephenson.
Cissi is survived by her children, Calvin Carrington, Jr. (Adina), Courtney N. Jackson, C. Jeanne Butler (Eric), Carlton Carrington (Laura).
Grandsons: Cody, Colby, Chase (Destiny), Courtland (Daysia), Cayden, Kennedy, Eric B. and Cylas. Granddaughters: Jasmine, Mikayla, Camryn, Aliyah, Callyn and Erin. 7 great grandchildren and one on the way. Siblings: Debra Salas, Anton "Bookie" Salas (Hope), Donna Ramirez (Tommy), and Michael Salas (Tiphani). Her mother-in-law, Louise Carrington. Stepmother, Jeannette Salas. Special Aunt, who was also her best friend, Ella B. Rivers. Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
