Danny Lee Jackson Sr. 79, of Anahuac, TX; passed Jan. 30, 2026.

A Graveside Services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, Feb. 07, 2026, in Bayshore Cemetery Bailey Rd. Anahuac, TX.

Danny Lee. Jackson was born on May 19, 1946, to Elmer W. Jackson and Orena M. Jackson in Anahuac, Texas.

He was the eldest of four siblings. He made his way through school later to go on to the air force. After returning home from the Military, he met Mary Alice Jackson and Isaac J. Peterson the eldest of his boys. In September of 1969 his first biological son Danny L. Jackson Jr. was born and then in August of 1973 his youngest Bryan C. Jackson was born. He worked hard for Brown & Root up until the beginning of the 80's when he decided it was time for a new career in law enforcement. In the late 80's he moved to Houston continuing law enforcement doing undercover work in Bay City an El Campo, TX; and then later to become the Police Chief of Columbus, TX. After approximately 30 years in Law Enforcement, he retired to relax and spend time with family. Throughout the years he became Pop Pop to Four grandkids: Mikayla N. Jackson, Camryn D. Jackson, Brylon J. Jackson and Debahni A. Jackson in which he loved dearly. Danny L. Jackson Sr. was a hardworking man that believed in taking care of his family and teaching his kids to do the right thing. He was a firm believer in God. He will forever be loved and missed.
