Rosemarie loved her family, friends, and always felt so blessed and grateful that her 5 children all lived so close to Villa Park. She was an amazing swimmer which she was in the Olympic trials for the 1952 Helsinki Olympics and she was proud of the Christmas synchronized swimming show she led for her College of Saint Teresa in Winona, Minnesota, where she met Tom, the love of her life at a St. Mary's dance. She enjoyed gardening, writing beautiful poems, decorating, entertaining, dancing, listening to music and her favorite songs were Summer Wind, Moon River and Sunrise Sunset.
Visitation Friday, October 10th, 2025, from 3:00-8:00pm at Steuerle Chapel,15 W. Park Blvd, Villa Park, IL 60181. Parking entrance off of Ardmore Avenue. Visitation Saturday 9:00am until time of prayers at 9:45am. Mass at 10:30am at St. Alexander Catholic Church, 300 S. Cornell Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181.
Memorials to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls are appreciated. Funeral info: steuerlefh.com or (630) 832-4161. Interment immediately following Funeral Mass. Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162. Luncheon to follow at Angelo's Ristorante 247 N. York St. Elmhurst, IL 60126.
