Dennis B. Roelle

Dennis Bernard Roelle passed away on Monday, January 6th, 2025, at the age of 76. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Peetz High School Gymnasium in Peetz, Colorado, with Pastor Lou Nollette officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Peetz School Athletic Fund 311 Coleman, Peetz, CO 80747.

Dennis Bernard Roelle was born July 17, 1948, in Sidney, NE to Francis and Coletta (Fehringer) Roelle. Dennis was raised on the family farm in Peetz, CO alongside his 13 siblings. Dennis graduated from Peetz High School in 1966, and married Anna Marie Bellendir on January 11, 1975. Dennis and Annie were blessed with 6 children, Mark, JaNae, Jason, Jerod, Sarah, and Christopher.
Dennis farmed his entire life, also raising hogs and cattle for many of those years. He loved the reward, and the challenge of working the land and raising animals to provide for his family. Dennis drove the route and activity bus for Peetz School, which gave him the opportunity to watch the sports he loved to play growing up, and was able to support as a proud Peetz Bulldog.
Dennis was most at peace and fulfilled when he was at the lake. He took his family on many camper trips to the local reservoirs when they were kids, and later a second home at Lake McConaughy. He loved having a place where his children, grandchildren, friends, and family could all come together to enjoy each other making unforgettable memories.
Dennis is survived by his wife Annie, son Mark Roelle and wife Shelby, and their children Ashlyn, Austin, Logan, and Brooklyn of Sidney, NE, daughter JaNae McBride and Joseph, and their children Wyatt and Brynn of Sterling, CO, son Jason Roelle and Jennae, and their children Emersyn and Anastyn of Thornton, CO, son Jerod Roelle and Andrea, and their son Tristin of Loveland, CO. daughter Sarah White and Jeffery, and their children Cole, Abby, Chance, and Jaxon of Sidney, NE, son Chris Roelle and his wife Sara of Fort Collins, CO, siblings, James and wife Linda Roelle, Beverly and husband Don Lock, Kenneth Roelle, Elaine and husband Cliff Lock, Mary Husband Bob Mollendor, Michael and wife Dorris Roelle, Lynette and husband Arvin Janzen, Gladys and husband Doug Riemenschneider, Larry and wife Joann Roelle, Jolene and husband Steve Marshall, Keith and wife Sandra Roelle, Lisa and husband Dennis Walter, Wayne Roelle.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Coletta.
