Rosemary "Rosey" Domanchuk, nee Wnek, age 81 of North Riverside, Illinois passed away peacefully November 3, 2025 with her daughters at her side.

She was a loving mother of Laura (Marvin) Gordon, Lynda Kruep; loving grandma of Tiffany (Cody) Diggins, Brittany Kruep (Will Price) and Michaela Gordon; loving great grandma "Gigi" of Ava; sister of late Eleanor (John) Gaydusek and the late Andrew (Mary) Wnek and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Rosey was always a fan favorite at Laura's home coming to most holiday gatherings especially summer BBQs where she would bring her famous butter cookies. She loved spending time having "company over" at her place and always enjoying "coffee an" with Laura and granddaughter Michaela. A quick visit usually became 3 hours in length with so many spirited discussions. She lived everyday to the fullest independently.

Rosey enjoyed traveling and spending time in New York when able to see her daughter Lynda and her granddaughters Tiffany and Brittany. She loved spending birthdays, holidays and school events with them. And was thrilled when she became great grandma "Gigi" to Ava and was so happy that she was able to meet her in person a couple of times.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life - playing bingo at Holy Guardian Angels Parish and Brookfield Elks Lodge, enjoying trips to the casino and sharing laughter over a good game of pinochle at North Riverside Village Hall. She loved to socialize and was an active participant at Stickney Township Office on Aging.

She was the kind of person that could strike up a conversation with anyone about almost any subject. She had a quick wit and an unfiltered sense of humor. Rosey told it like it was, that made her unforgettable. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
