Rosemary Ann Mabey, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Murray, Utah. She was born on May 25, 1946, in Union, Utah, to Ishmael Phillips Walker and Ellaween Haycock. On July 24, 1973, she married the love of her life, George Mabey.
After graduating from high school, Rosemary earned her cosmetology license and devoted much of her life to working hard. She was known for her creativity and strong work ethic. Rosemary found joy in traveling, crocheting, ceramics, macramé, and celebrating her birthday with a trip to the movies. In her later years, she loved spending her mornings in the garden, tending to her gardens.
Rosemary is survived by her sister, Judie Mortensen; daughters, Chonna Segura and Christa Tateyama; grandchildren, Christapher, Patrick, and Chancelor Segura (and their wives), Terra, Tyler, and Trevor Tateyama, Kimberly Fulmer, and McQueenee Hernandez; and great-grandchildren, Izaiah, Antanocio, Harper, and Lillianna Segura. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George E. Mabey; parents, Phil and Ella Walker; siblings, Inez Caldwell, Roy Walker, and Jack Walker; daughter, Jennifer Mabey; granddaughter, Alexis; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.
