Rosemary Plotke passed away peacefully Saturday, August 9th.

Rosemary was born in Chicago in 1938 and lived her entire life within the city. Shortly after high school she worked at Lakeview Bank, where in 1970 she met her husband, William Plotke. They married in June of 1972 at St Alphonsus church and enjoyed marriage until William's passing.

She was very active in St. Tarcissus Church & School, where her children attended. She never missed a sports game, volunteering in the concessions at most games, assisted in preparing the student school newspaper and attended to other parish needs. She was very social and loved family events, including attending a family wedding, in Detroit, just a week prior to passing away.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, William Plotke.

She was the loving mother of Maryrose (Robert) Burnetter and William Plotke. She was the proud grandmother to Tyler Burnetter and step grandmother to Sean (Lauren) Burnetter and great step grandmother to Lochlann and Madeline Burnetter. Loving aunt and cousin to many more.

Visitation will take place Thursday from 3pm to 7pm with funeral service at 6:30 pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview. Interment Private St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
