I was sorry to hear of Rose's passing. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
I met Rose when she worked at The New England. She was a hard-working, industrious woman who always had a ready smile and a kind word for everyone.
Many of her younger colleagues affectionately called her "Momma." They loved Rose and often joined her for lunch, drawn by her warmth and wisdom.
She had a kind and generous heart, filled with both motherly compassion and practical insight. People often came to her for advice-which she always gave
Rose was also known for her infectious laugh. It was a beautiful, ringing laugh that filled the room. She had a wonderful sense of humor to match.
Sometimes, when she started laughing, she just couldn´t stop-and it was a joy to witness. She would try so hard to regain her ladylike composure, only to laugh even harder. It made everyone else laugh right along with her.
When Rose laughed, people didn´t just want to know what the joke was-they wanted to be part of the moment.
Above all, Rose´s greatest treasure was her family. She was completely devoted to them, and it showed in everything she did.
While Rose will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, I believe she has brought her joy to Heaven. Even God smiles when He hears Rose laugh.
I pray that her family and friends find comfort in their grief through the many wonderful memories they shared with her.
