Rosemary White
Beardstown - Rosemary White, 93 of Beardstown, died Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Liberty Village in Pittsfield.
She was born January 29, 1932, at her home in Cass County, the daughter of James "Jack" and Beulah Mayes Morgan. She was married to Keith Harbin, and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1977. She later married William J. White and he preceded her in death in March 2010.
She is survived by daughter, Gail Elaine (husband Phil) Seaborn of Baylis, and their son, Jake Seaborn, and his children, Sarah and Suzanne Rose Seaborn; daughter, Barbara Allen Hamilton of Lee Summitt, MO, and her son, Chad Hamilton, and his children, Hunter, Lochlyn, Bentley, and Hayden Hamilton; one son, Brian Keith Harbin of Indiana; a deceased daughter, Debbie Smith, and her surviving daughter, Sarah Smith, and her three children, Maddox, Stevie and Samson, and a son, Dakota Smith; several nieces and nephews that she loves dearly, especially Carol Shutts who was very special to Rosemary; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith Harbin in 1977; husband, Bill White in 2010; a daughter, Debbie Smith in 2009; her sister, Margaret Schroeder; and two brothers, Charles and Hugh Allen Morgan.
Mrs. White began her education in a one-room schoolhouse through eighth grade and graduated from Virginia High School in the class of 1949. In 1976 Rosemary attended the School of Respiratory at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She worked at Beardstown Hospital as a Cardiopulmonary Technician and retired in 1994 from St. Luke Health Care.
Rosemary was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beardstown and was always open with her faith. She was a lifetime member of Guthrie-Pierce VFW Auxiliary Post #1239 in Beardstown and a devoted member of the Passavant Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, past president of Beardstown Emblem Club #474, Cass County Historical Society, Chairman of Cass County
Diabetes Association, a former member of Rainbow Garden Club, and belongs to the Southwestern Cherokee Council Roll #WHM2371. Rosemary loved to volunteer and give back to her community no matter what organization she was giving of her time. She had a passion for nature and loved spending time in her backyard whether it be raising butterflies or nurturing her flower garden. In her spare time, she also loved crocheting, reading, and spending Friday night dinner with friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:15 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at First Lutheran Church in Beardstown with Reverend Catherine Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in Beardstown City Cemetery with Auxiliary Services conducted by Guthrie-Pierce VFW Auxiliary Post #1239 of Beardstown. The family will meet with friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with Emblem services conducted after the visitation at 11 a.m. at the church.
