Rosetta "Rose" Calvert, 70, of Bardstown, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at U of L Health Jewish Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1954 in Nelson County, employed at G.E. and later American Greetings. Rose was a member of Church of God of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Daniel Curtsinger and Ruby Couch; grandson, Hunter Smith; two brothers, Ricky Curtsinger and Tony Curtsinger; three sisters, Mary Jane Boblitt, Edna Smith and Betty Vessells.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Calvert; a daughter, Crystal Calvert; two step-daughters, Laura Smith and Carol Ferguson; a step-son, Brian Calvert; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ruby McIntosh, Debbie Finch, Rita Rotten and Rachel Greer; several nieces and nephews; her dog, Bella.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 27, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Highview Cemetery. Pastor Judy Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be 12 to 5 P.M. Sunday, January 26, 2025 and 9 to 11 A.M. Monday, January 27, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
