Rosetta "Roe" C. McNicholas passed away peacefully.

She is survived by her beloved partner, David A. Richards; her loving sisters, Kathleen Entwistle and Christine Sneyer; and her devoted brother-in-law, Tim Entwistle.

Roe was a cherished aunt to Sarah, Kevin, and Emily Entwistle, and Kevin's wife, Elisabetta, as well as Alicia, Joe, and Ryan Sneyer. She was also a proud great-aunt to Savannah, Alyanna, Brooks, and Beckham.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Rosetta (Retty) and Joseph McNicholas, and her brother-in-law, Frank Sneyer.

Born in Teaneck, NJ, and raised in Old Tappan, Roe graduated from the Academy of the Holy Angels in Demarest and Douglas College at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. She previously worked with the Alliance for the Homeless, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to helping others.

Roe was a talented writer with a deep love for reading, travel, and nature, especially her cherished visits to Spring Lake, Bear Mountain, and Mohonk Mountain. She was passionate about the beauty of wildlife and the environment and was a proud supporter of the Sierra Club. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roe's memory to the Sierra Club, honoring her lifelong love of nature.
