ROSETTA ROMIOUS Obituary

Rosetta Romious was born to the union of Richard Allen and Frances Romious on May 30, 1943, in Shelby, Mississippi. She was the second oldest of 10 children and was known as the termed "Big Sister" to all. She loved her family and all the children in her life. She graduated from Lincoln Senior High School District 189 at East St. Louis, Illinois. She was a Data Entry Operator at Southwestern Telephone Company. Rosetta was a devoted mother, loving daughter, a dutiful pillar and contribution to her community through her family, friends, community and church. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting, drawing and coloring. She also loved traveling with her family.

Rosetta departed this earthly life on January 7, 2026. The memories of her love and cherished by her five children, three sons and two daughters':

Juan M. Romious (Martha) of Laplace, La., Carlos D. Romious (Zanab) of New Orleans, La., Dwayne P. Romious (Tiffany-deceased), of Laplace, La., Alvia Romious of St. louis, Mo., and Darlene Romious(Shadid) of Harker Heights, Tx.

Twelve grandchildren: Christy M. Westbrook, Juan M. Westbrook (Katrell), Destiny J. Romious, Destin J. Romious, Carlos Romious Jr., Kasha Turner, Arania Rose Romious-Hadad, Makayla Rose Romious, Zacary D. Romious, Dwayne Romious Jr., Darwin Romious, Alysia Romious. Four great grandchildren: AmeliaLougon, Ta'Lisa Westbrook, Oren Westbrook, and Levi Westbrook.

Rosetta was survived by her loving siblings: Daniel G. Wallace and William Romious of East St. Louis, Il.,Leonard K. Romious of St. louis, Mo., Dr. Marcella Romious-McCorn of East St. Louis, Il., and Marguerite Wright of Granbury, Tx.

Rosetta was preceded in death by her father Richard Allen Romious, Sr., mother, Frances L. Romious, andbrother's, Sidney Romious, Richard Allen Romious Jr.,and sister Rosanna Romious-Tell.
