On March 7, 2026, Rosetta Webb was called from this life to her heavenly home. She confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor George Washington. She completed her formal education at Booker T. Washington Senior High School. She was the beloved mother of Shanell (Zakia) Curley, and Shantrill (Aaran) Hogan.

Her loving grandchildren; Renalda, Renata and Rondell Boykins, Aaran Jr, Naraa Hogan, April Deven Curley, Terry Arthunot, Diamond McCormick, and Briana (nee) Curley. She leaves behind cherished memories her siblings Lena (Ernest) Riley, Sandra (Mchael) Merritt, Kittie Kirsch, Bertrand Coleman, Dennis Webb, Sidney Pugh, and Joseph Kirsch. She is also survived by her devoted companion Ernest Antoine, adoring godchildren, Sharon Brown and Byron White, and many other close relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Cecelia Albritton Daniel Webb, daughter, Sherlita Curley, son Reynaldo Curley, grandson; Johran McCormick, her sister and brothers-in-law, Julia Preston, Harold Hamilton, and Joel Albritton. Rosetta worked in the hospitality industry with her serving in various roles as either a housekeeping attendant or cook. She always had an infectious smile that lit up the whole room. She was a people person and never met a stranger.

The bible reminds us that absent from the body, present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8 for Rosetta has been rewarded with her crown and robe and then she woke up in Jesus arms. So, sleep on Rosetta and take your rest. For this is not goodbye but see you later. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, March 19, 2026, for 1:30 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Mentuer Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126.
