Rosina Lucero passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born to Doroteo and Teresita Lucero of El Rito. Rosina had been a resident of Santa Fe and El Rito, NM. She worked as a great Hairdresser at many salons in Santa Fe throughout her life. Rosina could be spotted from a mile away with how she presented herself. She was always fashionably dressed and had her hair perfectly in place.

Rosina was also very dedicated to her Santa Fe Lady Bowling League. But the most important thing to her was family. She always traveled from Santa Fe to her hometown of El Rito, NM, to visit and ensure they were all doing well.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doroteo and Teresita Lucero. Brothers, Johnny, Lazaro, Fidel, Gilbert, Savino, Waldo, and Roman Lucero. Sister's, Estefanita Maez (Ernest), Trinidad Lucero, and Martina Trujillo, Rosina is survived by her son Sammy Lucero (Ruth), grandchildren Francina Bencomo (Alonzo), great-grandsons Isaiah and Deven Malcom of Ojo Caliente. Valerie Garcia (Anthony), great-granddaughters, Heaven Dupree (Santiago), and Payton Dupree of El Rito. Hayley Garcia (Ceasar), great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Braxton, and Brooklyn Garcia of, Santa Fe. Sister in laws, Susie Lucero, Ofrie Lucero, Alicer Lucero (Elmer), and many nieces and nephews.

Rosary and Mass were held at the San Juan De Nepomuceno Church in El Rito, Friday, September 26th, 2025. The family will have a private burial for Rosina Lucero at the El Rito Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Sammy Lucero, Roman Lucero Jr., Anthony Garcia, Freddie Ocana and, Ezekiah Ocana.
