Rosita "Mimi" Jenkins, age 87, of St Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. She was born in Mount Vernon, Illinois on April 18, 1936 to Roy and Theresa Stover (nee Boswell).
Rosita was devout in her faith. She was married to her husband, Marvin "Red" Jenkins for 49 years. Together they owned and operated, Jenkins Insurance Agency in Lincoln, Illinois. She deeply loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. Rosita never knew a stranger and was always first in line to help others. Rosita enjoyed singing Christmas songs, all year long, shopping and traveling. Everyone that knew her will miss her famous hugs.
Rosita is survived by her daughters, Ryan (Scott) Bradford and Michelle (Chris) Allison; her grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Jesse, Finn, and Sean; her great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Zachary; and her beloved dog, Myah-myah. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jenkins; her father, Roy "Dee" Stover; and her mother, Theresa Ferne Coffman.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with a funeral ceremony to follow at 12:00 pm all on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at O'Fallon Christian Church, 9380 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, O Fallon, MO 63366. Interment will be private.
