Ross T. Jabs of Waukesha passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the age of 78. He was born in Milwaukee on January 16, 1947 the son of Edward and Dolores (Lottermoser) Jabs. Ross proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He worked for 36 years at Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) in the facility services department. Ross loved being outdoors and working in the yard and also enjoyed working on cars. His greatest joy was his family and he especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Michelle (Michael II) Finley of Waukesha and Pamela (James Vinopal) Jabs; his grandchildren, Tristen Albers, Megan Rutherford and Benjamin Rutherford; his special friend Julie Heyen; brother Lee (Jane) Jabs and step-brothers, William Vasilauskas and George (Yvonne) Vasilauskas and sister-in-law Polly Vasilauskas. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward (Rose) Jabs and Dolores (Joseph) Vasilauskas, step-brother Gerald Vasilauskas and aunt Emma Jabs.
Visitation will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 7:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Interment with full military honors will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office. A reception will follow the interment on Saturday at a location to be announced.
