Ross A. Maschino, age 84, of Seymour, passed away at Hoosier Christian Village on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
Ross was born on September 12, 1939, in Seymour, IN to the late John J. Maschino and Lillie Elizabeth Hohnstreiter Maschino. He was a 1957 graduate of Shields High School where he participated in football, basketball, swimming, track and cross country. On October 14, 1960, he married the love of his life, Dixie M. Tidd Maschino, who survives. He worked for over 40 years at Thompson Dairy and 53 years at Vick's Liquor Store. His love of sports continued throughout his life as he played softball and basketball. Ross loved to hunt especially with his favorite coon dog, Roskey. He enjoyed yearly fishing trips to Canada with his family. He loved a good cup pf black coffee and working in the garden with his granddaughters. He loved passing his basketball skills down to his grandchildren. His hard work ethic set an example for the whole family. Nothing made him prouder than watching his grandchildren grow.

Maschino (Mary) of Columbus; four grandchildren, Samantha Maschino, Dylan Maschino, Delaney Maschino and Elizabeth Trueblood; and great-grandson, Julian Maschino.
