ROXANE MARGUERITE FURNISH

Roxane Marguerite Furnish, 73, of Oklahoma City, OK, formerly of Guymon, OK, passed away on February 17, 2026, after a brief illness.

Roxane was born on October 5, 1952 to Ronald Fred and Peggy Conner. She was born in Canyon, TX, grew up in Plainview, TX, and moved to Guymon, OK her senior year of high school. She graduated from Guymon High School in 1971. She met Bing Furnish in 1970, backstage at the Miss Guymon Pageant. They married in January 1973. They had three children Bret, Beau and Breanne.

Roxane worked at Guymon Public Schools for nearly 30 years at various positions including teacher/library aide and computer lab tech. She enjoyed working with students. Over the years many former students had told her that she had a positive impact on their lives and a special place in their memories of Guymon Schools. She retired in 2017.

She loved her dogs, flowers and decorating her home. She was artistic and made many beautiful needlepoint pieces. She loved shopping and dining out, especially enjoying Mexican food. She enjoyed being "Nana" to her three grandchildren, Bryson, Rylee and Evan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Fred and Peggy Conner, mother and father- in-law June and O.C. Furnish, her sisters Rochelle Conner and Renetta Fletcher, and brother-in-law Michael Lindsay. She is survived by her husband Bing, son and daughter-in-law, Bret and Heidi Furnish, their children Bryson, Rylee and Evan, son Beau, daughter Breanne, sister and brother- in -law Rhonda and Mike Pritchard, brother-in- law John Ford, sister- in-law, Lyndell Lindsay, brother- in-law and sister- in-law, Rick and Val Furnish and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is being held on Saturday, February 21st at 1pm at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle, OK. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Furnish Family Scholarship.
