Funeral Services for Roy L. Anderson "Roy Bean or Beanie" will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Swartz, LA. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Church. Service immediately following at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop, LA.
Roy loved hunting in Banks, AR with his buddies in Springhill Hunting Club. He also loved his fishing trips to Lake of the Pines in Texas.
Roy was preceded in death by his father Ernest Earl Anderson, mother Rosa Lee Dawkins Anderson, brother-in-law Doyle "Willie" Mangham, and good buddy, Howard Mardis.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Dianna Anderson; children, Bart Fink and wife, Lydia of Eunice, LA, Stephanie and Claye Sims of Monroe, LA, Candace and Brad Allen of Ruston, LA; siblings, brother, Wayne Anderson and wife, Gwenn, twin brother, Troy Anderson and wife, Tina, sister, Sandra "Baby Sister" Mangham; granddaughters, Mackenzie, Claiborne, Sawyer Sims and Harper Fink; grandsons, Wyatt Fink and Sutton Sims and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Claye Sims, Brad Allen, Bart Fink, Glenn Anderson, Eric Mardis and Matthew Mardis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Riels, Milton Wall, Carl Dement, Royce Dement, Allen Stutts, and Rodney Coleman.
