Roy A. Beachy, 93 years old of Elkton, passed away August 18, 2025, at McLaren Hospital in Bay City. Roy was born January 7, 1932, in Bay Port to the late Ben and Sadie (Ropp) Beachy. Roy married Audrey Clark in Bad Axe on October 11, 1952. Roy worked at the Pigeon Co-Op for 45 years. He was a member of Elkton Missionary Church. He loved watching all sports: Pistons, Red Wings, Lions, and Michigan State University. He was also a fan of country music and church songs. Roy is survived by his wife of 72 years, Audrey; children Alan Beachy of Tennessee, Paul (Marge) Beachy of Bay City, Anne Albrecht of Bad Axe, and David (Lisa) Beachy of Pigeon; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and sisters Doris Willingham, Sharri Kurtz, and Judy Martin; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Roy was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Pamer, Leona Huscher, and Ruth Delp, and brothers Eldon Beachy and Vernon Beachy. A funeral service for Roy will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Elkton Missionary Church, Rev. Garret Gazlay presiding. Visitation will take place from 3:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, August 21, at Champagne Funeral Chapel, 7356 W. Michigan Ave. Pigeon, MI. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Elkton Missionary Church.
