As a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Roy found joy and camaraderie in the vibrant rituals of football season, bringing together friends and family to share in the thrill of each game. His laughter echoed through the living room, a soundtrack of cheers and playful banter that created cherished memories for those lucky enough to spend time with him.

His presence was a profound gift to his community, characterized by a genuine interest in the lives of others. A viewing will be held on September 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on September 4, 2025, at 3:00 PM, also at the same location.
