Roy Blackfox

Roy Blackfox, 77, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away on January 27, 2026, at his home. He was born September 4, 1948, in Leach, Oklahoma, to Andy and Katie (Davis) Blackfox.

He is preceded in death by both parents; brothers Leon, Bob, and Jim; sister Louella; son David Wayne Blackfox; and two grandchildren, Kolten Dean Camp and Shelby Renee Blackfox.

Roy is survived by his wife, Dawn Blackfox, of the home; son, Darrell Blackfox and wife Karina, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; son, Paul Blackfox, of Oaks, Oklahoma; daughter, Deanna Blackfox Walker, of Springdale, Arkansas; son, Tony Blackfox and spouse John Massie, of Denver, Colorado; son, David Brian Blackfox, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; daughter, Sharon Blackfox-Oosahwe and husband Wilson, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Lora Black and husband Paul, of Midwest City, Oklahoma; son, Robert Vann and wife Freda, of Jay, Oklahoma; his sister, Sarah Woods, of Leach, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews that will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., at Wasson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the Wasson Chapel.
