Roy Lynn Bomar, aged 70, of Sorrento, Florida, passed away on May 15, 2025. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Roy made the move to Sorrento in the mid-1970s following his honorable service in the Navy during the Vietnam War. For over 35 years, he dedicated himself to his work as the Owner & Operator of Bee Safety Fire Equipment. Roy was actively involved in his community, notably as a member of AMVETS #1992 for 15 years, where he also served as an officer. An enthusiastic member of the AMVETS Riders group, Roy enjoyed bringing people together and was known for his love of fishing. Roy is survived by his beloved wife, Jodi Blanchard Bomar, his brother-in-law, Michael Skultedy of Madisonville, Kentucky, as well as two nephews and three grandnieces who will cherish his memory. A celebration of life will take place at AMVETS Post #1992 in Mt Dora at a later date. The family invites you to sign the online guestbook available at www.hardenpauli.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Florida. Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
