Roy Casanova Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, Cemeteries & Crematories on Feb. 24, 2026.
Roy R. Casanova, 81 passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2026. Born April 23, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas to Raul and Magdalen Casanova.

He spent over 60 years working hard in construction, ending his career as a Concrete Foreman. He loved spending time outdoors fishing, gardening, tinkering in the garage, working on cars and woodwork projects. He was a devoted father and grandfather coaching little league for his son's baseball team and attending grandkids events. His last job had him traveling with his beautiful wife of 40 years enjoying many new places and making beautiful memories.

In addition to his parents Roy was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Annette Casanova; Son Joe Roy Casanova; Brother Eddie and Sister Gloria. He will be missed by his children Bobby, Karen and Kathy; Brother Larry; Daughter-in-law Denise Casanova; Grandchildren Roy, Amber, JJ, Jason, Natasha, Jennifer, Lacie, Kayla and 11 great grandchildren. His life was a blessing, and his memory will remain comforting to all who knew him.

Everyone is welcome to join us for celebration of life: Saturday Feb 28 immediately following the service 5610 Crosswind Drive San Antonio, Tx. 78239.
