Dan was born in Westmoreland, Kansas. He built a life rooted in hard work, quiet strength, and a steadfast commitment to his family.

A man of many talents, Dan was known for his mechanical skill and love of cars. He raced A19 cars for Ford and spent countless hours working on vehicles and projects around the house. He took pride in teaching his family how to fix things, sharing not just his skills but his patience and steady presence. Though quiet and reserved, Dan was always willing to lend a hand and will be remembered for his reliability, kindness, and craftsmanship.
