Roy Lee Curlee

Roy Lee Curlee, age 70, passed away peacefully on November 5th in Dallas, Texas. Born and raised in Dallas, Roy attended the Dallas Independent School District and remained a proud member of the community throughout his life.

Roy was the beloved son of Mattie Moore Curlee Bennett and James E. Curlee. He has now reunited in eternal rest with his loving parents, his brothers James H. Curlee and Carl Curlee, and his twin sister Rosie Curlee.

He is remembered with love by his siblings Doris Curlee Brown, Robert Curlee, Tommie Bennett, Anita Bennett, and Linda Bennett.

Roy leaves behind his devoted son, Coreun Destiny Curlee, and his two cherished granddaughters, Desiree Curlee and Rayne Curlee, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews who adored him deeply.

A faithful servant of God, Roy Curlee devoted his life to ministry, believing deeply in grace, forgiveness, and second chances. As a pastor, mentor, and friend, he opened his heart to many who needed guidance and hope. Known for his kindness, respect, and unwavering faith, Roy lived by God's word and walked in love and humility every day.

Roy's life was a testament to compassion, redemption, and the power of faith. His presence will be deeply missed, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
