Roy Lee Dailey was born on June 14, 1949 in Duluth GA to the late Virgil James Dailey and Betty Lou Gamble

He attended Hooper Renwick High School in Lawrenceville GA and later became a dedicated truck driver for many years, beginning his career driving cement trucks and later transitioning to semi trucks loving the open road; it is where he found peace, freedom and pride in his work. Roy Lee was truly one of a kind. Eccentric witty and full of life. To know him was to love him. His laughter humor and strong sense of family left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.

Roy was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mrs. Alyce Dailey.

Lovingly survived by his children from his union with Ms. Elizabeth Dailey Tongila Dailey Hiles(William "Billy " Hiles) of Dacula GA, Tabatha E Dailey of Norcross GA

His loving siblings :

-Jacqueline Dailey Bell of Snellville GA

-5 grand children

-His Dear Aunt Ruby Butts of Marietta and a host of nieces nephews cousins and cherished friends.

Mr. Roy Lee. Dailey 76, of Dacula, GA passed on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 3:00 PM at our Gwinnett Chapel, 914 Scenic Hwy Lawrenceville, GA 30045. Visitation will be held prior to service on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM at our Gwinnett Chapel 914 Scenic Hwy Lawrenceville, GA 30045. Services entrusted to Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home, Gwinnett Chapel, 914 Scenic Hwy Lawrenceville, GA 30045. 770-338-5558.
