Obituary for Roy Charles Daugherty
April 16, 1947 – July 15, 2025
Roy Charles Daugherty was born on April 16, 1947, to Vivian and Charles Daugherty. On July 15, 2025, Roy peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to his family.
Roy was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Known for his strong-willed spirit and kind heart, he was a truly selfless man who would go above and beyond for those he loved. You could always count on Roy-no matter the circumstances, he was there with a helping hand, a solution, or simply a shoulder to lean on.
He is survived by his children: Tina, Bryan, Estelle, Casey, and Roy Daugherty Jr. His pride and joy were his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Christopher White, Lisa White, Charles Robin White, Nancy White, Brieanna Christine, Jonathan Cheso, Taveion Mims, Kyle Cheso, as well as Jonathan, Josiah, and Jayden Daugherty-and numerous others who all held a special place in his heart.
Roy's presence will be deeply missed, but his love and strength will continue to live on through the lives of those he touched. His memory will forever be a guiding light to the family he so deeply cherished.
There will be a Graveside Service July 30, 2025 at 12:00pm at Sierraview Cemetery in Olivehurst.
