ROY E. DEMMING age 83, beloved husband for 42 years of Susan Demming (nee Evans); loving father of Elizabeth Demming, Paul Demming (Shamus), Tim McKee (Paula), Anne Molica (Andy); devoted grandfather of Emily, Jacob, and Abigail Mckee and Ellie and Evan Molica; cherished son of the late Howard and Alberta (nee Pollard) Demming; dearest brother of the late Ron Demming and the late Carol Posar (Dan, deceased); dear uncle.

Roy was born January 11, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio and would graduate from Brush High School in 1962. Roy went on to be a skilled craftsman and machinist. He worked for some time as a GE employee and was the co-founder of Matrix Tool and Machine. Roy loved his cars- both restoring and building them. He had a special place in his heart for his restored ’56 Chevy and Volkswagens. Roy also liked to travel, particularly by cruise and plane. He and Susan traveled together to England, Australia, and the Caribbean, once even taking all 13 of their family members to California to see the Rose Parade. Roy is remembered fondly as a hard worker with a great sense of humor, who loved making others laugh.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Roy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS COMMUNITY ROOM, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 11 AM – 12:30 PM.

A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at THE FUNERAL HOME.
