Norwich – Roy Stephen Ditmore, 79, of Yantic Lane passed away Friday August 15, 2025 at the W.W. Backus Hospital.
He was born January 11, 1946 in Athens, Tennessee the son of Alec and Sadie (Saffles) Ditmore.
For 46 years he worked as a welder and planner for General Dynamics. He was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Roy was an avid bowler at the Norwich 10 Pin for many years.
Roy is survived by his wife Katherine (Favolise) Ditmore, son David Ditmore and his wife Kelly, and three granddaughters Emma, Isabella, and Lila.
