ROY T. HALL, age 78. Beloved husband of 33 years to Rosanne (nee Bedy); loving father of Erin Martino (John) and Ryan Hall; dear stepfather of Kristen Grabenstein (Matt) and Ryan Bolibruch (deceased); cherished grandfather of Nesanel, Devorah, Chana, Lucy and James; brother of Kathy Bourque (Dick); uncle of Jennifer, Kelly, Kevin and Brian. Cherished son of Roy E. and Kathleen Hall, both deceased.

Roy bravely battled heart disease for almost 30 years, but he never lost his sense of humor or joy in living. As a young man, he held a private pilot's license and soared above the clouds. Fifty years later, when he "piloted" a flight simulator, he still reacted with the same wonder and enthusiasm.

He loved to travel and join Rosanne in their adventures. They enjoyed Hawaii, Jamaica, Canada, Italy, and Ireland. Most memorably, in 2021 they traveled across the United States in their motorhome for 3-1/2 months, visiting 18 National Parks.

Roy was an avid animal lover who not only loved his many pets but also volunteered with shelter dogs. Most recently, he volunteered at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, where he found connection, passion and much joy.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Roy to the Cleveland Zoological Society, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109 or online at ClevelandZooSociety.org/memorial.

Funeral Mass Monday, August 25, 2025 at Church of St. Dominic, 19000 Van Aken Blvd., Shaker Hts., at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed on the Church's website. Interment at Lake View Cemetery will be private.

The family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) MONDAY, AUGUST 25, 2025 FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 10:15 A.M.
