Roy Harleman

Roy Harleman, age 68, of Versailles, passed away March 21, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was born July 25, 1955, in Independence, Missouri, son of the late Arthur Clyde "Mack" and Dorothy (White) Harleman.
Roy was united in marriage to Karla Bowline, who preceded him in death on April 25, 2023.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed amateur radio, restoring tractors and classic cars and playing songs on his guitar.
He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge.
Roy is survived by his children, Elizabeth "Joanie" Moye and husband Robert of Springfield, Missouri, Arthur "Clyde" Harleman and wife Wendy of Marshall, Missouri and Brittany Smith and husband Darrell of Crocker, Missouri; nine grandchildren; his sisters, Peggi Sargent and husband Steve of Versailles, Missouri and Holly Martin of Moberly, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a half-sister, Myrna Loy Stokes.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
