Roy Hubbard Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chapel Hill Mortuary & Memorial Gardens - Cedar Hill on Feb. 9, 2026.
Roy Dean Hubbard of Wentzville, Missouri, was born August 22, 1943 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Samuel and Leona (nee Adams) Hubbard and entered into rest Sunday, February 8, 2026 in Cedar Hill, Missouri at the age of 82 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Leona (nee Adams) Hubbard; siblings, Helen Harris, Peggy Doggett, Katherine Newton, Lloyd Hubbard, Floyd Hubbard, and Frankie Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (nee Simmons) Hubbard; niece, Kim Hubbard; along with numerous other extended family and friends.

Roy lived a life marked by faith, service, and quiet strength. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 29 years, carrying that same sense of duty into his calling as a Pentecostal pastor, where he faithfully ministered to others. A hardworking provider, Roy also spent years in sales for an office supply company. In his free time, he found peace in the outdoors-enjoying fishing, hunting, and collecting Indian memorabilia. Roy will be remembered for his devotion to God, his country, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

Interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
