Roy Lovett Obituary

Father of the late Christine Booth (Robby); he is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Lovett (nee Borland); two children, Richard Lovett (Michelle), and Brenda Foley (Mark); his sister, Linda dela Rosa; and eight grandchildren, Jason, Eric, and Ryan Lovett; Jenna and Kelly Booth; and Sean, Brianna, and Nicholas Laslett.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Roy resided in Chesterfield, NJ most of his life, before moving to Cream Ridge seven years ago. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He had a successful career as a welder for Homasote Company, RCA, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratories and Viking Yachts. Roy was a passionate hunter (bow and shotgun) and enjoyed camping and fishing. He volunteered as a hunting educational instructor and was a merit badge counselor for the Scouts BSA. He was a former member of WA-XO-BE Archers and Mac Truck Rod and Gun Club and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 6-8 pm and again on Thursday, December 21, from 10-10:30 am, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown, NJ.
Interment will follow in BG. William. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Roy's memory to the Hydrocephalus Association at www.hydroassoc.org, or to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
