Roy D. McCleve

Roy D McCleve, (91) beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on November 27, 2024 at his home in Aztec, NM after a life filled with love and service to others. Many lives were touched as he served in the United States Navy, then gave many years of service to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in assignments and volunteering. He worked for years with the Gas Company of New Mexico, supporting his family to show them the love and care he had for them. Those family members include Janet Lee Peterson who preceded him in death. He was survived by his wife, Zelpha May Brown Zufelt who passed away on November 30, 2024. He is survived by his three children: Ferrell Ann Hornsby, Rebecca Grace Hulse, daughters, and Michael Roy McCleve, his son. And 15 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Many of Zelpha's children also think of him as a father and grandfather. A viewing for both Roy & Zelpha will be held at Brewer, Lee, & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E Ute St, Farmington, NM, 7:00 - 8:30 pm on Friday, December 6, 2024. Funeral services for both of them will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints church, 505 N. Oliver Dr., Aztec, NM on December 7, 2024 at 10:00 am, with a viewing at 9:00 am and graveside dedications following the services.
