I remember meeting him in the hospital in Grand Junction, Co at the start of the Air Life program. He was so proud of the work they were doing and the program. Several months later I was hired by him to first fly in Grand Junction and a year later start the program in Greeley. Later I moved to the offices in Englewood and watched the company until Roy´s vision transform into the driving force in the medical world it has become. Roy you were such a visionary and so many lives have been saved because of that vision,

A Life of Service Honored
Today, a formation of six helicopters assembled from Centennial Airport to pay tribute to Roy Morgan, whose celebration of life was held in Parker, Colorado. The aerial salute, including a medical evacuation helicopter, was a powerful display honoring someone who clearly had a profound impact on the aviation community.
As I witnessed the meticulously coordinated preflight preparations and the helicopters flying in solemn formation, it was evident that Roy Morgan was an extraordinary individual deserving of such reverence.
The presence of the air ambulance helicopter underscored his connection to the life-saving efforts of aeromedical personnel, professionals renowned for their courage and dedication.
While I did not know Roy Morgan personally, the sheer scale of this aerial tribute spoke volumes about the meaningful life he led and the indelible mark he left on those around him. Watching the helicopters gracefully arc across the sky, I was struck by the visibility of his legacy, a reminder that true character endures long after someone is gone.
Roy Morgan has departed this earth, but his spirit will carry on through the actions of all those he inspired to lives of service. May this celebrated aviator rest in eternal peace, his memory buoyed by the profound respect displayed today. My wife Angelique and I pray for his wife and the family to find peace.

Roy was an amazing neighbor. Even in his late 70's, building a fence together, he worked every bit as hard as I did (a few decades his junior). We shared a "do it yourself" mentality. With such humility, and his gentle, affable nature, it took a while for us to realize what a giant he was in the industry. Condolences to Debi and the rest of the family. Your dad was an absolute amazing human being.
