She was born in Norfolk, NE to Edwin and Margaret on December 9, 1950.
She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969 after moving to Denver during her childhood. Kathy married Harry Homer on June 12, 1971 and James Haskins years after Harry passed in 1998. Kathy and Harry have three children, Tim (Chris), Jason (Bethel) and Cherise (Ryan) Callighan, Five grandchildren, Nicholle (Phil) Hamilton, Zach, Garrett, Reiley Callighan and Caleigh Callighan. Kathy and Harry have two great grand children, Leland Hamilton and Caroline Hamilton. Kathy is survived by those above except her son Jason, who passed in 2024 and her husband's Harry (passed 1998) and James (passed 2022).
Kathy loved her cat Marlin and enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She worked for more than 30 years at ARC and has been retired for several years. She loved to watch the Denver Broncos as her favorite team and enjoyed watching all her loved ones growing up. She will truly be missed..
