Mary Lou Richard, 74, of Parker, passed away August 23, 2025. She was the loving wife of Mike Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents Clark and Irene Foster, sister, Barbara Ketchum, brothers, Robert Foster, Michael Foster, Dan Foster; grandparents, George and Mary Negomir; brother in law Joseph Ketchum; Nephews Rollin Harshbarger and Steven Waldie. She is survived by her son Dustin Drake (Angela Rendon) of Aurora, CO Amanda Jarosz (Eric) Littleton, CO; grandchildren, Ashley Edgell (Austin), Brennan Drake, Mikayla Hartman, Dane Drake; great grandchildren, Jaxon and Crew; siblings Patricia Waldie of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard Foster of Littleton, CO; aunts Barbara and Phyllis Negomir; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mary was a graduate of East High School, class of 1969, Pueblo, CO. After attending Southern Colorado State College, she went on to have a long career working various roles in the insurance industry. Her time in insurance lead to an opportunity with the State of Colorado (DORA) where Mary was in charge of auditing insurance companies all over the United States. In 2016, Mary retired having worked her last job with Hannover Re Insurance.

Mary lived life to the fullest and enjoyed being outdoors and traveling with her family. She was an avid camper, skilled water skier and very good bowler. She loved concerts and sporting events. Doing anything with her family, particularly her husband Mike, made her happy. Her zest for life was unmatched.

Funeral service Friday, August 29th 10:00 AM, Parker Funeral Home. Graveside services immediately following at Parker Cemetery.
