Roy Murray, age 76, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024. He was born in Mt Ash, Kentucky on December 13, 1947 to Samuel and Thena Murray (nee Anderson).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marlene Murray (nee Day), his daughter, Jennifer Murray, his two brothers, James Murray and Theodore Murray and his five sisters, Inez Barnett, Alma Vaught, Mildred Kohler, Marcella Bates, and Maxine Duncan.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Jodie (Kevin) Jordan and son, Jeffery Murray. He is the grandfather of Austin Jordan, Logan (Lindsay Bader) Jordan and Mackenzie (Peyton Binkley) Wells, and the brother of Yvonne Brateman. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by other family members and friends.
Roy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed the thrill of gambling and watching old westerns.
Visitation will be at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 10 AM until the funeral service at 12 Noon. Burial to follow in St Joseph Old Cemetery.
