The staff of Heishman Funeral Home/Valley Funeral Service sends condolences to the family of Mr. Roy Carl Nuckols II.

Roy Carl Nuckols II, 50, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 in North Carolina. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Strasburg. Pastor Keith Warren will officiate. Burial will be private in Newhouse Cemetery in Moorefield, WV. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Nuckols was born February 11, 1975 in Fairfax, son of Roy Carl Nuckols Sr. and Judy Louise Walsworth Nuckols. He graduated from Valley Baptist Christian School and attended Pensacola Christian Academy in Florida for three and a half years. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and aux. member of VFW. He was an mechanic and operated A and N Automotive.

Surviving, along with his parents, are two daughters, Alyssa Nuckols and fiancé Logan Richardson of Grassy Creek, NC and Natalie Nuckols and fiancé Landon Davis of West Jefferson, NC; sister, Kathleen Sprouse and husband Mark of Stuarts Draft and two nephews, Austin Sprouse and wife Claire of Churchville and Patrick Spouse of Stuarts Draft.

Pallbearers will be Mark Sprouse, Austin Sprouse, Patrick Sprouse, Logan Richardson, Robert Nuckols, and Richard McDonald.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Valley Funeral Service, RE: Roy Nuckols Burial Fund, 14116 S. Middle Road, Edinburg, VA 22824.

Roy loved basketball and enjoyed music, especially playing the piano.

His life verse was "What time I am afraid; I will trust in thee." Psalms 56:3
