Roy Paslay Obituary
Mr. Paslay passed away on October 21, 2025, at his residence.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Paslay: his grandchildren, Allan Paslay (Monica), Cameron Paslay, Jessalyn Kelly (Harold), and Allyssa Paslay; his great-grandchildren, Mercy Paslay, and Khalani Kelly, Kchayse Kelly; a soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Mayla Paslay; and his siblings, Daniel Paslay and Janna Paslay.
Mr. Paslay was preceded in death by his father, Roy Paslay;, mother Doris Standridge, and his sons, Michael Scott Paslay and Dustin Shane Paslay.
Mr. Paslay was the former owner and operator of Scott's grocery in Saks for many years. He loved spending time at his beach house in Orange Beach and deep-sea fishing. Mr. Paslay loved and adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed cutting grass and was a private man who loved the simplicity of his life.
