Probst, Roy S., II, passed away at home on October 12, 2022. He was 73. He is the loving husband of Pamela H. Probst (Nee Heinz). Loving father of Roy S. Probst, III and his wife Jennifer (nee Papania) and Brian J. Probst and his wife Emme (nee Hall). Adoring grandfather of Riley, Izzy, Charlotte, Roy IV, Owen, Lucy and Tristan. Dearly loved brother of Cynthia P. Bradley and her husband Wilson and the late Lynn Probst and his wife Joan and dearly loved brother-in-law of Barbara Heinz and Jack Heinz and his wife Michelle. He is also lovingly survived by three nieces and one nephew.
Roy was a graduate of Merchantville High School class of 1966, West Chester University and received his post graduate degree in banking from University of Penn Wharton School of Business. He and his wife, Pam made Haddonfield their home and raised their family there. Roy was an active and devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield where he served as Deacon and on various boards throughout the years. His working career was spent in the banking industry retiring as Senior Loan officer and Vice President of 1st Colonial Bank. Roy was an avid runner, loved sports and was a faithful Philadelphia sports fan. Along with his brother, he enjoyed an annual trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown NY. Over the years, he coached his sons' teams and cheered them on from the sidelines. Most recently, he enjoyed encouraging his grandchildren and sharing in all their endeavors.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday Oct 21 from 1:30-3pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield 20 Kings Hwy East, Haddonfield where a Memorial Service will be held at 3pm. Interment will be private. If desired, donations may be made in Roy's memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield 20 Kings Hwy East, Haddonfield NJ 08033.
