Roy Robinson

Roy Robinson, 79 of Maritn, KY, passed away March 6, 2024 at his residence. Born June 1, 1944 in Martin, KY, he was the son of the late Joe & Bicie Conn Robinson. Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Castle Robinson. He was retired from CSX and an elder and preacher of the Arkansas Creek Church of Christ, Martin, KY. Roy is survived by his children, Joey Robinson, Jonathon (Sparkle) Conn, Eddie Conn and Marlena Calhoun all of Martin, KY, Freda (Tony) Branham of Prestonsburg, KY and Sharon K. (Robert) Helton of Pikton, OH; sisters: Barbara Caudill and Mosie Robinson of Martin, KY and Babe Patrick of Prestonsburg, KY; 16 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family & friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Roy was preceded in death by his children: Gregory Conn, Rita Roberts, Diana Joyce Conn & Carolyn Conn; brother: Jeff Robinson; sisters: Daisy Bryant, Creedie Robinson & Verlena Robinson. Roy will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will be after 6pm Thursday (March 7, 2024) and all day Friday (March 8, 2024) at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday (March 9, 2024) at the funeral home with Church of Christ Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins-Crum Cemetery (Arkansas Creek) Martin, KY
