Roy Robinson

Roy "Papaw" Robinson 55 of Marshall went to be with the Lord and reunite with loved ones on Sept. 18, 2025 surrounded by family. A viewing will be held Tuesday Sept. 23, 2025 from 2-4. Roy was born May 25, 1970 in Longview to the parent of Roy and Patricia Robinson. Following high school Roy was actively involved with the United Steelworkers union and made a career as a USW union rep. He was very passionate about his job and helping others. Roy was also a sportsman who loved the outdoors from hunting and fishing to working on his Chevelle project car. He took great pride in being a grandfather to his grandson Adam. They were always on the tractor, lawnmower or playing in the pool. Roy was as also an uncle to Braden Oglesby, Lucas Robinson, Natalie Robinson and Samuel Robinson. He was a husband of 32 years to his wife Lora and father to his daughters Amber Rogers husband Austin Rogers and Jenna Robinson. Roy was a brother to his sister Robin Robinson Langford husband Johnnie Langford and his brother Randy Robinson wife Sorani Robinson. Also to cherish his memory is Mike Robinson cousin and aunt Nancy Robinson
