Roy Rose Obituary

Roy R. Rose, 88, of Madison, Ohio, passed away December 31, 2021. Roy was born in Birch River, West Virginia on April 1st of 1933 to Lanty and Macel (Jackson) Rose. Roy enjoyed farming and loved to can his vegetables to share with others. In his younger days, he won several contests for two-man log sawing with his brother Louie, and he was an outstanding horseshoe pitcher. He enjoyed spending time with his grand children. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Pauline (Kuhn); his parents; sister, Audrey and her husband, Tom; and brother, Gale.Roy is survived by sons, Tom(Cindy) Rose, and Jeff Rose; his daughter, Brenda Rose; grandchildren, Jeffrey Rose, Tom Rose, Jr., Chad (Crystal) Stehlik; and 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Clara Mae (aul), David (Irene), Louie, Caron (John), Sharon (Jack), Patty (Raymond), Tommy (Molena), and Judy (Danny). Calling hours will be Saturday, January 8, 2022; 11am – 1pm at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison, Ohio 44057. Funeral Service will follow at 1pm. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery where graveside committal will take place. A Celebration of Life will follow at Perry Christian Church located at 3270 Call Rd.
