Roy Shaw Obituary
Roy Dean Shaw, 72, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Fountain Run, KY native was a retired employee of City of Portland. He was a son of the late Dewey Richard Lee Shaw and Delsie Denton Creek Shaw Wix.
He is survived by his wife: Julia Landers Shaw, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Rocky Shaw and companion, Tanya Dixon, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughters: Alicia Gann and husband, Jerry, Franklin, KY;
4 brothers: Larry Shaw and wife, Kathy, Fountain Run, KY; Danny Shaw and wife, Susan, Carthage, TN; Michael Key and wife, Teena, Westmoreland, TN and Lanny Shaw, Franklin, KY;
2 sisters: Carolyn Keith, Pleasant Shade, TN and Vicky Todd, Westmoreland, TN;
4 granddaughters: Ciera Cook, Macie Scarbrough, Erin Gann and Maddie Shaw;
3 great grandchildren: River Allen-Davis, Laiklyn Allen-Davis and Luke Scarbrough.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: J.W. Gann; 2 sisters: Nina Cowls and Geneva Starks and 3 brothers: Bobby Shaw, Ronald Lewis Woods and Chuck Shaw.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Landers and Bro. Lynn Herrington officiating and burial in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
