Royal Bates Obituary
He was born on October 24, 2023 to Alyssa Smith and Blake Bates in Marion.
His favorite toy was a little round mirror, and he was very particular about having the correct binky. He loved his big sister, and he always woke up with a smile.
Royal is preceded in death by his great grandfather Jack Smith and grandma Robin Krohmer.
He is survived by his parents; his big sister Heaven Lutz; great grandparents David and Patricia Smith (Runkle), Audrey and Travis Collins, Peggy Browning, and Timothy O’Dell; grandmother Amanda Webb; grandfathers Clayton Bates and Larry Dean Smith; aunts Aubrie Smith and Erin Joyce; uncle Kirkland Bates; great aunt Casie Grau, and great uncles Dwayne O’Dell and Cody Bates.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Edwards Funeral Service Hughes Allen Chapel.
