Ruben Acedo, Jr. was born in Tempe, Arizona, in the year 1944...His Mother was Olympia and his true Father was John. Dad was determined from the the start to make his Life his own. He was a Brother and Friend to the ones he loved and interacted with. 
Dad was to become a Soldier in the Korean conflict. He was a decorated Sergeant with his Tank Division with the Injum Scouts, 2nd Division. He would be honorably discharged in 1967 and marry Rose Acedo, raising three kids. Dad was a Gentleman who taught honor for the Country, and how to become a Leader. He was an endless provider to our Mother and his children. 
Ruben would go on to work locally for years in Fresno at an Insurance Company and then afterwards, create his own business named Acedo Safety Consultation, that specialized in Dairy and Agricultural Training. This would prove in being his true passion that would last his lifetime. 
He would make his permanent home for the past 14 years in Visalia, Ca
Loved and appreciated by local business owners and patrons alike. 
Dad would love to be remembered for the wonderful things in life. His Family, love of the outdoors, music, fishing, great food, scenic drives and the endless pursuit of happiness..
