Ruben Ramirez

Ruben Ramirez, 68, of Houston, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2026, in Houston. He was born on July 4, 1957, to parents Guadalupe and Alicia Ramirez in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.

Ruben later made his home in Houston, where he married the love of his life, Manuela Herrera. A dedicated and hardworking man, Ruben spent many years as a truck driver before officially retiring, even though he was no longer taking trips in his Peterbilt he was constantly working on something with one of his assistants (also known as his grandkids). He was known for his unwavering commitment to his family and his grand presence. A loving husband, father, and Tata, Ruben's greatest joy was hanging out with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Manuela Ramirez; his daughter Blanca Estela Garcia and her husband Mario Garcia; his son Jesus Ruben Ramirez and his wife Janet Ramirez; and his six beloved grandchildren: Mario Garcia Jr., Anthony Ruben Garcia, Elizabeth Guadalupe Ramirez, Jesus Ruben Ramirez, Emily Isabel Garcia, and Cruz Joaquin Ramirez.

Ruben's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be dearly missed.

Ruben estableció su hogar en Houston, donde se casó con el amor de su vida, Manuela Herrera. Hombre dedicado y trabajador, Ruben pasó muchos años como camionero antes de retirarse oficialmente; aunque ya no hacía viajes en su Peterbilt, siempre estaba trabajando en algo con uno de sus asistentes (también conocidos como sus nietos). Era conocido por su inquebrantable compromiso con su familia y por su gran presencia. Como esposo, padre y Tata amoroso, la mayor alegría de Ruben era pasar tiempo con sus nietos.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Manuela Ramirez; su hija Blanca Estela Garcia y su esposo Mario Garcia; su hijo Jesus Ruben Ramirez y su esposa Janet Ramirez; y sus seis queridos nietos: Mario Garcia Jr., Anthony Ruben Garcia, Elizabeth Guadalupe Ramirez, Jesus Ruben Ramirez, Emily Isabel Garcia y Cruz Joaquin Ramirez.
